I read this book with my class in the 5th grade. It was very interesting. It started to grasp the students minds when they saw how Brian, the main character, dealt with the problems he had to face as he was stranded alone. He knew how to survive. This is a very good book;I'd recommend it to any reader.
not bad. i didnt like SOME of it but it was good. i like when the moose hit brian. whats wrong with me? well, anyway, you should read it. im 10 and iread that which is a middle school book. its good
I think this was a great book for any ages(since I read it when I was in fourth grade) and it teaches you about some basic survival skills. Along with that, it's a really interesting book to read.
What a good book
This book is really awesome. Once I started reading this book, I couldn't stop myself. Every page had some thrilling stuff in it. The part I enjoyed the most is the boy's first day surviving in the wood. I also recommend people to read the second Hatchet.
