I read this book last month, in April because my best friend viciously recommended it to me! When I started it, I thought it was adorable, but once I got to the middle of the book it got really, really exciting! I loved Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger's characters especially! (who doesn't??) The fantastical and fantastic world that JK Rowling wrote is simply amazing (and absolutely cute! Who doesn't like owls who deliver messages to you at school or Neville's adorable but easily misplaced pet toad??) I love Rowling's writing style, her amazing characters, and her huge imagination! I will definitely be reading book two soon! I would recommend this book to ANYONE from the second grade to 101 years old.

I love harry potter
I love the harry potter series, but I really like this one because you feel so happy for harry when he gets to do all these cool things because he has been treated so badly by his aunt and uncle. They really abuse him and he feels so alone until he gets to go to the wizard school, Hogwarts.

This is an awesome book that is super exciting and has lots of clif hangers and twists. I think that my favorite part of this book so when hagrid tells Harry that he is a wizard. This book is also cool that j.k Rowling came up with all of the names like Griffendor, Hufflepuff, ravenclaw, slithered, and hogwarts. I think that the series gets better and better the more you read.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE book series of ALL book series/books possible. This story begins with the sad life of Harry Potter, age 10, being bullied by his cousin Dudley and treated meanly by his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon. However, as the kind giant Reubus Hagrid told Harry, he was a wizard! His parents didn't "die in a car crash" like his aunt and uncle said. They were actually killed by Voldemort, and Harry somehow survived the evil dark magic. Join Harry as he tries to survive year 1 at Hogwarts, his school, being treated like a celebrity. <3 THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER, YOU WON'T REGRET READING IT!
This book is great! It has a lot of adventure in it, and it also has magic, too! I enjoyed reading this book so much, that I can read it at least a thousand times!

I love this book. It's the first book in a long series about a boy who receives a mysterious letter telling him that he is a wizard and is invited to join Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. This book is one of my all-time favorites, and I highly recommend it.
This is an AMAZING book for action seekers. Harry Potter is an 11-year-old boy whose parents were killed by Lord Voldemort when Harry was only a baby. He was then sent to live with his one only relatives, the Dursleys. They treat Harry horribly. However, one day, mysterious letters addressed to Harry come, but Uncle Vernon won't let Harry read them. Whoever is sending the letters seems determined to reach out to Harry, because they keep on sending letters. One day, Hagrid, the groundskeeper at Hogwarts, barges in and tells Harry that he's a wizard. Harry then goes to Hogwarts and starts his life as a wizard. However, Lord Voldemort is still after him. Using his wits and courage, Harry must get the Sorcerer's Stone before Lord Voldemort does.
