It is such mysterious book. you will never want to put it down. There are parts that are funny, especially with the Dursleys. the whole series.

Wonderful read. Filled with fantastic adventure, sharp wit, clever humor and humble main characters, the first of the series, Sorcerer's Stone is everything a reader could ask for and more.

This book is about a boy named Harry Potter who is known all over the wizarding world because he was the only person ever to survive an attack from the Dark Lord. When he recived his card to go to the wizading school, he got really exited and soon made a new friend. During the school year, he and his friends discovered the teachers were hiding a big secret. They learned more about it and were exited to distroy what it was holding.
Book is better then the movie. If you love the movie, you should read the book.
