Hogwarts has always been the safest place for wizards. But will it always be? Professor Dumbledore has brought Professer Slughorn, a man who taught at Hogwarts many, many years ago to teach potions again. Harry feels as if Dumbledore didn't just ask Professor Slughorn to come to Hogwarts to teach potions. At his potions class, Harry comes across a book that's the same as everyone else's potion books, but it's old, belonged to someone called 'The Half-blood Prince' and has corrections for how to make the potions, as well as a few notes and a spell - Sectumsepra, for enemies. It also looks like someone's trying to poison Dumbledore, and Harry thinks it's Draco Malfoy, who has been enemies with Harry since the very first day. When you add the typical teenage drama going around, then you've got a tough situation. Harry has to find out what Dumbledore wants him to get from Professer Slughorn, prove Malfoy guilty, find out who the half blood prince is, all while worrying about his crush on Ginny, and his friend's crush on Ron who's dating someone else. This one is my favorite in my series! With suspense, action, drama and most important: Magic, J.K Rowling has done it again!

I love this book
this book really grabs you in and makes you want to read more. it is probably the saddest book because Dumbledore dies.

i love this series, btw if you noticed i say " i love this series" for a lot of my reviews that is because i love a lot of books, and i read a lot, really fast, and i read more than 1 book at a time, like 1 at school and 3 at home not at the same time just randomly i go pick up a book i was reading and read it, right now i am reading mockingjay, the red pyramid, shadow throne, and a 72 chapter blood of olympus that is someone else's version on wattpad, btw if you did not notice I LOVE BOOKS

This book is THE BEST. It's the most dramatic book I have ever read. It's got everything you could want in a book. If you like to watch Doctor Who, Psych, Sherlock Holmes, or Criminal Minds, then this is the book for you! It has death, fights, victories, and losses. All in all, it's a great book. But you still have to read book 1-5! And I don't mean watch the movies only, I mean READ!
