In one of the most hotly anticipated sequel in memory, J.K. Rowling takes up where she left off with Harry's second year at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Old friends and new torments abound, including a spirit named Moaning Myrtle who haunts the girls' bathroom, an outrageously conceited professor, Gilderoy Lockheart, and a mysterious force that turns Hogwarts students to stone.

This year went a turn at the end! I loved the details at the end. Voldemort's return gets really big with Harry. Everything looks like it's all in perfect order. What I really loved was that it described how everything was, like the look. I also liked that the the new teacher, a famous author, was presented like any new character: description. J.k. Rowling describes every new character. I really do enjoy that she does that. I think that adding a new teacher was a good choice because it shows a personality. Like always, I greatly recommend this book to everyone!!!

I selected this book because it was better than the first. . Someone open the chamber of secretstofree amonster to kill everyone in hogwarts. My favorite passage was when Harr and Ron escapes the Forbiden Forest in Ron Dad's car

My very very very very favorite book

great book

This book was even better than the first book. I thought the second book was a very active book. It showed how Harry was "special" and why he was the main character.

i loved this book!J.K Rowling has really outdone herself. My dad has read it and he loved it too. Thanks for creating such a great book!

I loved this book! I have already read the harry potter series about 3 times and my fav. book is the chamber of secrets.

I liked this book because in this book, they have a new magical arts teacher, who is crazy. Let me get to the main part of this book. There is a snake in the school and if you look at it it can kill you, but a lot of people don't look at it, but through a mirror, or camera lens. That petrifies them. Well Harry is the only one who can speak the snakes language. He has to speak his way through, to getting the snake to be killed.

It was AWESOME!
