A true story from Raina Telgemeier, the #1 New York
Times
bestselling, multiple Eisner Award-winning author of
Smile, Sisters,
Drama, and Ghosts!

Raina wakes up one night with a terrible upset stomach. Her mom has one, too, so it's probably just a bug. Raina eventually returns to school, where she's dealing with the usual highs and lows: friends, not-friends, and classmates who think the school year is just one long gross-out session. It soon becomes clear that Raina's tummy trouble isn't going away... and it coincides with her worries about food, school, and changing friendships. What's going on?

Raina Telgemeier once again brings us a thoughtful, charming, and funny true story about growing up and gathering the courage to face -- and conquer -- her fears.

Grace Grace

This book has a certain limit to read!

What I read was really awesome it was about a girl who is scared of vomit and sees a therapist. She thinks she's going to vomit but doesn't and goes through alot of stuff.

So please don't judge me when I say it wasn't the best, the best but it was still super good. I feel bad for the girl who bullied the main character and when they became friends it made me happy because she finally able to get along with her and it's unique cause in most books you won't get that kind of happiness or friendship and it shows how people can get along and how books really shows how the world works and how books can really intertwine or connect with you in way like this book has done with me. I've read all the other ones but when my friends mom asked if I wanted to go to the book fair with them I spotted this book and I thought. 'I should really get this one. I heard it's new' and I read the whole thing in a day. Out of smile, guts and sister tell me which one you like best of you've read those ones. Those are the three that I really like. Anyway I suggest it cause why not?

aahaha aahaha

this book is only letting me read to a certain point please HELP!!!

I don't know if this book is good but ALL my friends have said "OMG you should read this it's sooooo good!"

This book follows a young girl named Raina who is afraid of a lot of things. She just doesn't want to be different. Raina is scared of things like vomiting, death, and war. She hears and sees things in the media and from her peers and gets frightened. Her parents get worried about her and send her to a therapist where she explains her emotions and learns that it is okay to be different and have fears but you shouldn't let the fears control you. In the book, Raina is struggling with keeping friends and finds joy in making comics. The book goes on a journey with a normal girl who has fears and verbalizes that it is okay to be scared and if you are, you can tell others. I would highly recommend this to any 4th-8th graders who need guts because it truly is amazing.
