Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

This story is about a girl named Hazel, who has cancer. Her mom makes her go to Cancer Kids Support Group, and that is where she meets a special guy named Augustus. While fighting her stressful cancer, she falls in love with Augustus and as time passes, Augustus and Hazel's relationship comes closer and closer. However, it is not long that Hazel can spend happy times with Augustus. This book teaches us a lot about life and how you have to overcome tough obstacles, and even at the hardest time of your life, you can still find small happiness. I would recommend people to read this book if they like realistice fiction love story, with a little bit of tragic plots.

Have you ever felt different from everyone else? When you know people seem to not want to be around you, like you have some kind of contagious disease? Well that's how Hazel feels. In The Fault In Our Stars, by John Green, Hazel is the main character, who is 16 and has lung cancer. This book doesn't have any particular time that it took place, although it does mention that Hazel and her family live in Indiana. With the help of her mom making her go to support group, Hazel meets a 17 year old boy, who soon becomes her friend, named Augustus Waters, who also has a form of cancer. I would consider cancer to be the antagonist, and and Hazel to be the protagonist, because she is constantly fighting cancer, or as Hazel would say, living with it. One major conflict in this book is when Isaac-Hazel's friend from support group-loses his eyesight, and goes completely blind. One other conflict in this book is when Peter Van Houten-Hazel’s favorite author-finally responds to the mail she's been sending him. Van Houten lives in Amsterdam, and Hazel had always wanted to meet him, but her family doesn't have the money, and her doctors say she might not make it. Will Hazel and Augustus figure out a way for Hazel to get to Amsterdam? Or will she have to stay in Indiana, waiting out her life? Find out in The Fault In Our Stars, where you will discover how hard it is to live with cancer, and the hardships people have to go through.

need it!!

This book is about a girl that can't breath and has always been looking at life in a negative way. Until he met a guy at support group and at is a group with people just like Hazel. She has very low self esteem because of the disease. Her parents forced her to go to the support group so get a more social life, even though she thinks it's bad. She never thought that she will meet her love in that support group, Augustus Waters. It's a sad story because in the end, the beautiful relationship of them can't continue because of their fate.

I have this book which I have not picked up yet I have other books I want to read but it looks good though I read a couple of pages okay three chapters it is so good and a juicy book so you should pick it up sometime. Then read it.

I find The Fault In Our Stars to be a very emotional and beautiful story about two cancer patients. Hazel never thought that she would meet someone that she would truly love since she did not believe in it until she met Augustus Waters. The story was beautiful because of the things they had done for each other, they helped each other through things and Hazel didn't seem to be so bothered by her cancer so much after meeting Augustus. The ending was unexpected since I did not see it coming, I never thought that would happen. I think this book is trying to tell us to cherish what we love because nothing lasts forever.
