I loved this book because I love this author. She described the setting so well that I could imagine where they were and what they did. You should read more books that this author ,Pam Munoz Ryan, has written. She is AMAZING!

i only read the beginning it is very descriptive i personally didn't like it so far but if you do, that's cool too.

I read this in fourth grade (now I'm in sixth) and truly I love this book! I love the plot and the chapters just make you think every time you end it. She is an amazing writer!
I read Esperanza Rising in fourth grade, it gave me a heartache. It is beautifully written, the author did a fantastic job of piecing together words to create a perfect picture in my mind. Pam Munoz Ryan uses very strong verbs and adjectives. She is a fantastic writer!

This book is so nice and heart warming. I love how it talks about people trying to destroy Esperanza's family but they all stay strong and never give up.
when i read this book Esperanza rising i loved it with all my heart just reading it.Esperanza rising is now my favorite book.Now i now know not to judge a book by its cover.
this book is amazing about a mexican rich girl that goes from darling dresses to dirty cloths it is a great novel
