When fifteen-year-old Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon soon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself.

Overnight his simple life is shattered, and, gifted with only an ancient sword, a loyal dragon, and sage advice from an old storyteller, Eragon is soon swept into a dangerous tapestry of magic, glory, and power. Now his choices could save—or destroy—the Empire.

I LOVE this book!

One of my fav. books!

I AM READING BRISINGR I AM IN 6TH GRADE XD

LUV LUV LUV THIS BOOK TOOK ME 2 DAYS TO READ :D

I really wanna read this book because i love dragons and the books have lots of action if they inclod amazingness.

It was adventurous and scary at the same time. When the little boy found Eragon in the mountain that everyone was forbid to go near, he thought that hen he found it he could sell it to the butcher for some meat for his brother and grandad.

I read this book like a five months ago. It was super long, but it was okay. I thought maybe the book could be at least a hundred pages shorter, and maybe some more major things like, sighting Galbatorix or something, but instill liked it. The book was too boring when I realized he wasn't going to battle galbatorix, but I still read some of the second book. I recommend for more patient people...

It is full and action-packed. It even has a movie.
