This was the most exhilarating book I read yet! The main protagonist is Andrew Wiggins- known as the world as Ender Wiggins. The person he loves most in the whole universe is his older sister Valentine, and his brother Peter tortures him endlessly. At the moment, the planet had two world wars with the buggers, insectlike beings from another planet. They are yet to have another one, and the space armies are recruiting only the best of the best to protect them. Little does Ender know that he might be the only one to stop the Buggers...... I recommend this book to people ages nine and up. If you ever get a chance to read it, please take it.
Read Ender's Shadow too, because that explains who Bean was...he is literally the most complex character I have ever heard of. It took a book for them to understand who he was, and then they still had to tie up loose ends in the rest of the Shadow series!
I love this book! My friend recommended me the book! I'm soo glad he did! I love the determination Orson Sott Card outs in the main character Ender. He's this brilliant, smart, young, kid who has more talent than ever...
This book is one of the best books I have ever read. I love the way Card writes the novel. I am currently trying to find the rest of the Ender Quartet. I believe everyone needs to read this.
Here's my personal way to read the books: 1. Read the prequels, which are about Mazer Rackham and the first alien invasion. These are called Earth Unaware, Earth Afire, and Earth Awakens. 2. Ender's Game 3. Ender's Shadow 4. Shadow Series, including Shadow of the Hegemon, Shadow Puppets, and Shadow of the Giant. 5. Shadows in Flight and Shadows Alive.
Sorry, never finished this. Anyway, back to this. So, the Shadow series is over. Now we'll return to Ender with number 6. Ender in Exile. Then you go to the actual series. 7. Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Children of the Mind. Unfortunately, Orson Scott Card has expanded on this one book so much, I can't even keep them all straight, so please look below where awesome rainbeaux has put some more of the books that I haven't read yet.
What? You never read the rest of the Ender series. Speaker for the Dead? Xenocide? Children of the Mind? I'd also put in A war of gifts after Ender's Game and Ender in Exile after Shadows alive (maybe I haven't read that one yet) but before speaker for the dead.
