This book is about a German boy who is different from other kids. He has a birthmark on his face that makes him look like he is spotted. Kids make fun of him because of his birthmark, so his dad has decided to home-school him. It's during the time of Hitler. The boy's name is Frederick. Frederick's father does not like Hitler, even though he's German. Frederick's older sister, Elizabeth, has been going to medical and has joined Hitler and his gang and her father does not like it. To be in Hitler's gang, Elizabeth has to provide her birth certificate and her parent's marriage certificate to be part of Hitler's gang. When Frederick tries to help his sister find her birth certificate, he finds his instead, and is unpleasantly surprised by what information it gives.

This is a amazing joyful book about 3 children right now I am reading about Frederick and how his sister has joined the league of German girls and how his whole family are not Hitlerites but now his sister is one and wants to be a leader Elizabeth (Fredericks sister) is training to be a nurse and wants to be a leader Elizabeth is wanting her German heritage to be pure German so she can be a leader her father disproves what will happen next

i read it #harmonica so good #onetwothree nice plot. The best of Munoz i've read so far. It has a really good ending. I loved it and my teahcer took it to read it and I want it back because i want to read it again because it was so good\!
