Greg Heffley continues his journey through middle school with this hilarious new book, "Double Down". While Greg's mom tells him that video games are turning his brain into mush, he thinks that his life is being filmed as a movie. With hilarious scenes, Gregory is able to express his feeling in a funny way. I would recommend this book to people 6+. This book will leave you wishing the next one would come out faster!

The Diary of A Wimpy Kid series is always great! I especially loved Double Down! In this book, Greg's mother requests that he find a new hobby since video games are not educational. He is forced to get creative and find something new and fun that he will enjoy. Greg enlists his best friend for a new movie-making adventure and he finds himself in a funny situation. The ending is a surprise and you will laugh at all of the events that happen throughout the book. This is a fun read for kids of all ages.

I love the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid series and this book does not disappoint! Double Down is another ace for the Wimpy Kid series. Greg problem solves once his mom takes away his video games and tries to find something new and fun to do! It is funny to learn about his new plans with his best friend and how he plans to get rich. He has many stumbles along the way and the ending is a surprise! Not quite as funny as Long Haul, but there were still some great moments and some chuckles that made this one a necessary read for anyone who likes the series or anyone who likes to read humorous books about life!

the party looked so fun and the night crawler movie fail was so funny

when they were making the about the night crawlers the fake skull was awesome and the party looked really fun

I really liked it because it is very funny

This wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. Wasn't nearly as funny either. The story line could have been better. The other books in the series were good though.

Double Down is the 11th Diary of a Wimpy Kid. It's about a kid named Greg, and he's super good at video games. But his mom wants to see the ''creative side'' of him. So he can't play anymore video games for a while. Halloween is also coming. Greg gets an idea when he discovers a bag of gummy worms. He calls his best friend Rowley over. They try to make a movie to become rich and famous. Greg's parents aren't home, so he is safe for now with his plan. But then Rowley is stuck in a tree, and Greg's dad comes just then. Now Greg is in big trouble. This book is very funny, and I recommend it to comedy readers. I rate it 4/5.

Greg Heffley did many things in this book, from getting attached to I.M. Spooky books to making a scary movie himself. He also starts to play the French Horn, which he is really bad at.
