In the fourth book of the New York Times bestselling series that’s as popular as it is dorky, Nikki Maxwell is determined to help out her crush!
Nikki Maxwell isn’t at all surprised to find out that her crush Brandon volunteers at a local animal shelter. He’s such a sweet guy—of course he wants to help those adorable puppies! Then Brandon tells her that the shelter is in danger of closing, and Nikki knows she can’t let that happen. Especially when she discovers a shocking secret about Brandon that makes keeping that shelter open more important than ever. So Nikki and her friends Chloe and Zoey enter an ice skating competition to help raise money for the shelter, but (big surprise) Mackenzie has to stick her nose in and cause trouble so that she can be the one to swoop in and save the day. No way will Nikki let that happen: She’ll just have to come up with some extra creative ideas this time!

Nikki Maxwell makes us all laugh again with this book! She and her friends compete in an ice skating show, hoping to win some money for Fuzzy Friends, a dog shelter that Brandon, Nikki's crush, works at, so that it can continue saving dogs (the shelter)! Mackenzie however, is ready to stir up trouble again, though! I would give this book a high rating, because of all its twists and turns. People from ages 6+ are sure to love it with its humor. Reading this book makes me want to finish the rest of the stories in the series!
This is another book in the Dork Diary series and it is funny and engaging like the others. I loved this book because Nikki is faced with the problem of trying to help her crush, Brandon, rescue the local animal shelter. She comes up with a plan to enter the local ice skating competition with the help of her friends. Then she is soon faced with some big challenges before she needs to perform. In the end, she finds a way to manage her bullies and end with a big surprise. This book was exciting and funny to read. I highly recommend it!

I love the Dork Series of books! This one does not disappoint either. Nikki is faced with the problem of her local animal shelter getting shut down. Her crush also volunteers there. She constructs a plan to win the local ice skating competition to keep the animal shelter open with the winning cash prize. Some unfriendly girls try to corrupt her plan and she gets a big surprise! The ending is great! I love reading Dork Diary series of books because they are always fun and exciting!
Nikki wants to participate in the charity figure skating competition to get money for Fuzzy Friends, Brandon's grandparents' pet shop. The only problem? Nikki can barely stand on the ice with out falling on her butt, much less dance on it! Will Nikki even make it to the ice, past Mackenzie's sabotage, or will she be doomed to rot in this old storage locker?
Nicki can't ice-skate. But Chloe and Zoe force her to enter a big ice-skating charity competition. Then they choose Fuzzy Friends as the charity. As they go along, Nicki has more drama, and she finds out about Brandon's past. As I said to the 10th one in the series, best for people who like funny books, and books with plot twists.
Nikki Maxwell is entering an ice skating competition! Problem is, she's not very good. Her friend and crush Brandon shares the alarming news that Fuzzy Friends, the animal shelter he volunteers at, could be shutting down! This makes winning the ice skating contest all the more important! But Nikki's arch enemy, Mackenzie, wants the prize money all to herself! Luring Nikki and her friends Chloe and Zoey into a costume storage room mere minutes before the competition starts, they feel all hope is lost. But a plan is devised, involving- clowns?!? Read the book to find out! (I had to redo this review because it got deleted somehow)
Nikki heard that an animal shelter that her crush, Brandon, is helping at might close. So she tries out for an ice skating competition. She is determined to win it because the prize is a lot of money, which is for the pet shelter. But the problem is, Nikki is bad at ice skating. Her 2 best friends are good at it, but she isn't. And one of her opponents is her worst enemy, MacKenzie. But then when they're tricked into going into a room to get their outfits that had been switched, they get locked inside. I recommend this book to girls, and ice skaters. I rate it 3/5.
