Boys don’t keep diaries—or do they?

The launch of an exciting and innovatively illustrated new series narrated by an unforgettable kid every family can relate to

It’s a new school year, and Greg Heffley finds himself thrust into middle school, where undersized weaklings share the hallways with kids who are taller, meaner, and already shaving. The hazards of growing up before you’re ready are uniquely revealed through words and drawings as Greg records them in his diary.

In book one of this debut series, Greg is happy to have Rowley, his sidekick, along for the ride. But when Rowley’s star starts to rise, Greg tries to use his best friend’s newfound popularity to his own advantage, kicking off a chain of events that will test their friendship in hilarious fashion.

Author/illustrator Jeff Kinney recalls the growing pains of school life and introduces a new kind of hero who epitomizes the challenges of being a kid. As Greg says in his diary, “Just don’t expect me to be all ‘Dear Diary’ this and ‘Dear Diary’ that.” Luckily for us, what Greg Heffley says he won’t do and what he actually does are two very different things.

Since its launch in May 2004 on Funbrain.com, the Web version of Diary of a Wimpy Kid has been viewed by 20 million unique online readers. This year, it is averaging 70,000 readers a day.

YOU'VE GOT TO READ THIS BOOK!! This book is so awesome that I went over for ten times!! The main character, Greg Heffley's life is hilarious. (spoiler from now on)I'm glad that he didn't got the scary cheese touch. Guys do not want to get near to the one who got cheese touched. Cheese touch is getting germs on your body from the stinky rotten cheese at Greg's school. You can be free when you touch another person. You think it's easy, but IT'S NOT. Everyone stays away from the one who got cheese touched. I hope that my school wouldn't have something like 'CHEESE TOUCH'.

This is the awesomest book ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay here's why I can only talk to you people by book reviews. I can not go on dogo books, nor dogo movies. So I can not go to mac kids book club

Diary of a Wimpy Kid book 1 by Jeff Kinney is a really good book. It’s about Greg and he is trying to fit in middle school. Outside of school Greg has a bratty younger brother named Manny, and he has a mean older named Rodrick. Also Greg has a kiddish friend named Rowley. Also in the middle school there's this thing called the cheese touch, and these boles make Rowley eat the cheese. I would recommend this to 9 to 10 year olds and people that read Funny books.

A gripping story with funny pictures and bits. It shows how we can do our diaries (although we do not have diaries that long. People of all ages should read this book and encourages people to use diaries themselves. I thinks it is great.
