I readed this book 3 times and i still like it. Also i watched movie and its not very same.

The tale of how a little girl named Fern, with the help of a friendly spider, saved her pig Wilbur from the usual fate of nice fat little pigs.An affectionate pig named Wilbur befriends a spider named Charlotte, who lives in the rafters above his pen. In this story of friendship, hardship, and the passing on into time, White reminds readers to open their eyes to the wonder and miracle found in the simplest of things.

There was a pig named Wilbur on a farm and a lamb told him that he was going to die. Then a spider named Charlotte came along and wrote words that describe him on the top of his pen and Mr. Zuckerman thought it was a miracle so he told the newspaper to put it on the news Then people started to come to his barn. And Mr. Zuckerman put him in the fair and he won some money and didn't die. Then Charlotte died at the fair but had eggs that Wilbur took care of. When they hatched all of them left him except three. Wilbur was happy with them but none of them ever took place in his heart better than Charlotte. I like this book because it's a great story about friendship and is about sacrificing for someone else.

My 3rd grade teacher miss she used to read this book to me all the time

it is a cool book for kids age`s 2 and up if you want fun and adventure books the here is a book for that.

This truly is a heartwarming story. though sad, every book needs that.Everyone will always remember the web!

This book is about a pig and a girl, it all started out when a mother pig had babies. And there was one that was to small and could not get any food from the mother. (because the rest of the piglets would not let the other baby pig get any milk and food) So the farmer went to go kill the piglet, but his daughter pleaded him not to kill the pig. She said that she would take care of the pig. Her father said yes, and the daughter named the piglet Wilbur. And when Wilbur grew up, he made friends with a spider. And the spider made him famous, by making Wilbur's name on the her web. (also, the spider's name is Charlotte) And son Wilbur went to the fair to try and win a contest as finest pig. But Wilbur lost, and a fat dirty pig won. But then the farmer made a speech, and then Wilbur got first place. And then Charlotte died, and had babies. So Wilbur carried the sack of babies home, and the babies came out of the sack. And all of them flew away, Wilbur was sad. But then he found out that three little spiders stayed with him, and he lived happy life. The End

This is one classic that NEVER gets old. Kids of all ages and time periods have joined this heartwarming, sweet, and at parts hilarious book of emotions as Fern first saves little wilbur from being piggy meat. With the help of a spider and all the love between Fern and wilbur, this tale takes a wild emotional ride. There are only two words that describe what Wilbur is not: "Some pig"

Charlotte's web is an amazing book about a little girl trying to save a pig named Wilbur from getting killed. She has to prove to her dad that Wilbur can be useful.

It is sad when Charlotte is dead I am in 7th grade
