Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

I want to really read this book because i want to under stand what happened more not just like watching the movie it was good but i need more info so that is the main reason why i want to read the book even though thats not my reading level 😁😉 P.S Read it

The move for Catching Fire was almost word-for-word, thay left out some inporntent stuf from the victory tour(and thay changed finik's outfit!) but the books are a lot more detailed and I suggest you read them!

The best book out of the whole trilogy!!! honestly the movie was a little off but the book is awesome! if u read it the movie will make more sense

This is awesome and sad... It's the second book of the trilogy. I won't spoil or tell you ( much ) , but I will tell you that this is the seventy-fifth hunger games, and 24 other previous victors had been forced to compete because it is the Quarter Quell ( every 25 years of the hunger games, the Capitol gives a new twist ). I cried a lot in this book.

awesome

It is my favorite book I have ever read. It is kind of violent in the beginning of part two though so you have to be prepared. I would recommend reading the book before watching the movie because if you don't read the book first, you don't know what your in for. Actually it does have a lesson in it some people think its a book about children killing other children. But it actually has a HUGE lesson it has. Also its very humorous and fun to read, also it can be very sad and I recommend this book for people who love adventure.

BIGGEST THG FAN EVER!! READ THE BOOK

it was ok but I liked the first book better

Catching Fire is a great follow-up in the Hunger Games series. I didn't expect anything that happened in the book, which added a great amount of surprise in the beginning, middle and end. A very well-written book.
