Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

I have read the series and really enjoyed it. The best book to me is Catching fire. MockingJay would have won but the ending was terrible, I won't say what happens but it's like Suzanne Collins just gives up and gets lazy and ends it really quickly without explaining. WORST ENDING EVER! But besides that very good book. A must read. :)

I LOVE all of the Hunger game books and movies and I can't wait until Mocking Jay comes out!!!!

I like the hunger games, if you do follow me

I've seen the movie! It's AWESOME! You should too! LOL!

This book was amazing! It was so well written, with so may plot twisters and surprises that I couldn't put it down. I love the plot, and this book was just as good as the first.

In the splendid sequel to The Hunger Games, Panem marks the start of the Third Quarter Quell. It has been decided by the Capitol that the reaping will only select previous victors to compete in the Hunger Games as a specialty of the Third Quarter Quell. Politically, this command was issued by President Snow specifically towards Katniss Everdeen, the living legend who represented District 12 in the 74th Annual Hunger Games. As the only female victor in District 12, Katniss must return to the horrifying rendition, alongside other victors who see killing as mere child's play. In this dauntless diversion of cat & mouse, who will come out the winner? Who will fall victim to the victor?

I love the hunger game book even the movies
