Hot off the best-seller list, Big Nate is in a class by himself. This spunky 11-year-old holds the school record in detentions, but that doesn’t stop him from dreaming big!

Big Nate is taking it from the top—the top of the troublemaker's list!

Nate Wright is eleven years old, four-and-a-half feet tall, and the all-time record holder for school detentions in school history. He's a self-described genius and sixth-grade Renaissance man. Middle-grade kids everywhere can relate to Big Nate's daily battle against overzealous teachers, backbreaking homework, wimpy cafeteria food, and all-around conventionality. This collection features cartoonist Lincoln Peirce's daily and Sunday comic strips packed with his vintage flair and insights into school humor.

I've read a lot of these books and I have been laughing a lot and pretty much just reading them through. Not really reading the whole thing through, just skipping to pages. I think everybody should read Big Nate. It doesn't have a very good story line; there are parts of it that are in individual books. I read my sister's books, I've read a lot of them, including this one, Big Nate Game On, Big Nate Say Goodbye to Dork City, Big Nate's Greatest HIts, and many more. I think that even people from other worlds should read it, and yeah, that's my rating. PEACE!

I LOVE Big Nate! This book is not one of Lincoln Peirce's novels, though. This one is a collection of comics that have no relation. I recommend this book to people who like comics and BIG NATE!!!

I really like this book Big Nate because its really funny and a good book to read all and all.

Big Nate is a four-and-a-half foot tall sixth grader with a record for the most school detentions. He works his way through the school year, causing trouble, getting in trouble, forgetting about school, dealing with daily problems and his fear as cats and spending too much time drawing comics and using his wit to find his way out of troublesome situations. This book doesn’t have a clear plotline - it is more a collection of Pierce’s comic strips. However, it is really funny and realistic. I would recommend this book to someone who wants a laugh and not necessarily a clear storyline.

This comic strip reminds me of the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes, except this one falls when is comes to the humor. It struggles to be believable and still be funny. An okay read for readers who have a few minutes here and there to fill with comics.

This is a good book! I usually am not a fan of comic books, but I really liked this one! I read it really quickly which is always really nice, it gives me a sense of accomplishment! Lincoln Peirce is a really cool author, and makes everything seem so easy! YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK!!!!

Big Nate is code word for the spunkiest, craziest, weirdest 11 year old you'll ever hear of. he holds the record for most school detentions, and annoys everybody he crosses paths with. The book itself includes a series of comics meant to tell his "dramatic" story, but I personally find them a bit confusing. Although the plot is funny, it is not too well though out, and seems to take a few random jumps. Overall, I am happy I read it but am not so pleased as to recommend it to others.

If I am ever feeling blue, or just need entertainment, I always find myself reading Lincoln Peirce's Big Nate. Big Nate never fails to make me smile, and I guarantee you will be laughing out loud.

Tis book was great! Its all about big nate and his struggles with sibings, gina, and artur. It is so realistic nd Its a graphic novel!
