"Because of Winn-Dixie" is a very heart warming story. Opal lives in a trailor farm and has begged her Dad for a dog ever since she was 3 or something. She meets Winn-Dixie in a store called Winn-Dixie, and her Dad challenges her to be responsible and keep Winn-Dixie out of the trouble he is always causing. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO LITERALLY ANYONE AND EVERYONE, EVEN IF YOU FEEL LIKE A NOBODY!!!!!!!! THIS BOOK IS AWESOME!!!!!

This book is a heart warming book. There is a girl named Opal and there is a dog named Winn- Dixie. I think everybody shoud read this book. This is a great book.

Really Really good book if you like dogs Summary! This girl named India but goes by Opal gets ordered to go to supermarket Winn-dixie to get supplies While shes there she heres screaming and sees store clerks running she looks in amazement to see a dog!the manager comes out now ...Uh-oh.....So the manager yells GET THAT DOG!The dog then runs right infront of of the Opal and ... I READ THIS BOOK WHEN I WAS REALLY LITTLE AND IT STILL A GOOD BOOK
I read this book in 4th grade and it is really good, and we had to do a report on it and stuff like that.
This an adorable book!! i love the movie also.
I read this along time ago, and saw the movie. It is very touching and I definitely reccomend it. Although I don't remember many details, I remember it's good.
