This is an adorably sweet story with this little girl who has no friends but gets friends with help from a dog she adopted at a grocery store. I read both movie and book both are awesome.

This book is about a girl called Opal. Her mom left her and her dad. One day she was at the grocery store and she met this dog and she named it Winn Dixie after the store. After then she and Winn Dixie had many stories and they lived together. I think this book is really inspiring and touching at the very end. The movie is also really good too.

i didn't really like this book because i thought i was slow and mostly talking but it was ok. my favourite part was when owen showed up with pickles at her party.

This is a great book.I think anybody that reads it will enjoy it very much.It is about a girl that finds a dog in a store called winn-dixie.So she claims the dog and brings it home.Thats how she got winn-dixie.
