Charlie is the Questor of the Cat Spirit, but he's still learning.

Three of the Questors of the Seven Great Spirits have faced their first dangerous Task, and succeeded in maintaining the Balance of Existence. Now bonded to one of the Twin Rings, Charlie must find out how to harness its legendary power, as well as continuing to understand the dominant magic of the Cat Spirit within him.

Another challenge from within also faces the Questors, as one of their number pulls away from them in pain and loss. Charlie finally begins to understand why he might have been chosen for his role as his natural talents come into play.

Of course they would not be Questors if there was not another critical Task awaiting them on the horizon. This time they are being sent to the world of Mydarec, a strange place run by Mafia style families, where magic is known and vampires are part of everyday society.

All seven Questors must use their considerable talents to navigate this strange new place, and figure out what, exactly, it is they are supposed to be doing.
