Amazing
AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
O M G !Rick Riordan is one of my all time favorite authors and if you loved this book I totally recommend Percy Jackson, Heros of Olympus, and basically all of his other books.
I read this book because I heard from somebody about the Rick Riordan Presents Series, and I couldn't wait to see how the books were. When I finally found this, I was not disappointed in the least. I loved how the author kept the same style of humor that Rick Riordan usually injects into his books, and that it was still solid with tons of information about the culture and mythology. This is a great book to read if you liked anything by Rick Riordan, which is kind of hard not to. So what are you waiting for? Go read this book!
This book is amazing. It's hilarious and when I read it I couldn't stop. I would definitely recommend it. The book had everything!!
If you liked Percy Jackson, you will love this new story by Roshani Chokshi! It is all adventure, humor, and action as Aru and her "sister" race to stop the Sleeper.
This book is really good! The author is a really good one. I would recommend this to kids 3rd grade and up to 6th!
Aru Shah is a book about a girl who has to fulfill a destiny that she knows nothing about. Aru is pressured to light a lamp (one that she knows she's not supposed to light) and released a demon (one that she thought was there). Suddenly, the lives of everyone in the WHOLE WORLD are on the line. Aru must defeat the demon to save everyone she has every loved, everyone in the world....and time itself.
THANK YOU DOGO! I saw this book in my school library and tried it because of you! Thanks so much! I literally read this book one day because it was so good. So, anyway, to the review! Aru Shah is a liar. Well....not exactly. She tells everyone what she wants to be real, not what is real. One day a couple of mean classmates who she thought were her friends come to her house during break. "You were supposed to be in Paris!!" they say. Aru realizes they are recording her, and she has no other choice but to do what they say....light the lamp in order to prove that it's not another lie. The lamp is cursed. So of course Aru does it because she wants to fit in. Only problem is: a demon is released that's going to end time...forever! Aru must set out on a quest to stop the demon with a pigeon, (Boo, who apparently is actually a powerful eagle) her "sister", (Mini, who knows thousands of everyday ways to die) and no knowledge of how to fight. She travels though the world of the dead and flees across the world of the living. Can Aru escape fate? Can she beat the odds? Can she save time and the world? --BKS reviews
