As I’ve said before, I love this series! This book is about Tara, who gets caught stealing her principal’s stuffed goat at night. Although the “popular kids” had roped her into it, her parents decide to make Tara stay in a small town that they grew up in, Willow Falls for the rest of the summer. She’s supposed to live with her aunt and uncle, as well as her cousin Emily, who’s she not seen in years. Since Tara and her family move a lot, she expects Willow Falls to be just like my other small town. But soon, she realizes that this town is much different, and she’s somehow caught in the middle of a situation. This book is about finding friendship when you least expect it, and how one simple turn of events can change everything. I would totally recommend this book because it’s so captivating! :D

When Tara, a self-proclaimed shrinking violet, steals the school mascot, a goat, in order to make some friends with the popular crowd and gets caught, she gets herself in a heap of trouble. In addition, her parents decide that instead of taking her on their summer trip to Madagascar to study the courtship rituals of the Bamboo Lemur, she must go stay with her aunt, uncle, and bratty cousin Emily St. Claire in Willow Falls. Tara thinks it's a good time to start over; she'll be turning 13 after all, so she might as well make the best of it and perhaps even attempt to break out of her shell (in a non-criminal manner). What Tara doesn't know is that this charmed town has something big in store for her on her 13th birthday. It's not a typical birthday. But then again, nothing is Willow Falls is exactly typical!

This is the 3rd book in the Willow Falls series written by Wendy Mass. In this book Tara is forced to visit her mom's home town, Willow Falls, due to an incident involving a stolen goat, a can of pepper spray, and the principal. At first Tara's bummed. But after arriving at Willow Falls Tara is starting to feel a little bit better. For the first time, she's making new friends, she and her cousin are finally getting along, she might meet Jake Harrison ( a teenage movie idol) and she's even directing a play! But when Tara learns the real reason she came to Willow Falls she's not so happy anymore. What will happen? This book teaches you the real meaning being family and friends. Read the book to find out! Happy Reading!
I have read all of the books in this series already and I plan to read them all again, but this is the only one I had at my house. These books are really fine for any age, though you notice that the girl in this one is turning 13. I love Tara and all of her friends, especially Jake Harrison! He sounds amazing and I am so jealous of Rory, because they are unofficially dating. It was such a sweet story, and I think people can relate to most of the characters. (not all of them though...) Loved this book!!
Tara is a 12 year old girl who stole a goat. Yes, a goat! But she only did it to impress her friends! Anyway, Tara got in trouble and now has to go to Willow Falls to see her cousin who once ate a glue stick instead of a wonderful vacation with her family! This was going to stink! But Tara meets some very interesting people. A boy who sings at the bottom of an empty swimming pool, two best friends who use chalkboards to communicate, and one old lady who might be older than you think. That old lady cursed Tara to find 13 objects before her 13th birthday, and it's up to Tara and her new friends to do just that. Will she do it time? We'll see in this 3rd creative and magical book in the Willow falls series, where there is no such thing as coincidences. Tara will discover many things, one of them that will change the way she looks at things forever!

This book was also really good but some parts were confusing. The nice part is that in the end everything eventually fits in. It was a really good book and you should read the entire series.
