This is a very nice book with friendship and a club that is a very big part of Lexi's life. I like that it included a recipe at the end!

Meet Lexi Poole.
To Lexi, a new school year means back to baking with her BFFs in the cupcake club. But the club president, Kylie, is mixing things up by inviting new members. And Lexi is in for a no-so-sweet surprise when she is cast in the school's production of Romeo and Juliet. If only she could be as confident onstage as she is in the kitchen. The icing on the cake: her secret crush is playing Romeo. Sounds like a recipe for trouble.
Can the girls' friendship stand the heat, or will the cupcake club go up in smoke?
Includes reciples and tips to try at home!

I really liked this book! It is really good when they talk about cupcakes but not as good when they don't. Over al it was awesome.
This is an adventure so sweet you might need to go to the dentist after. Lexi Poole, member of PLC (Peace, Love and Cupcakes) comes back from a summer with her aunt in NYC. As school starts, her drama class decides to put on the production Romeo and Juliette. She gets the part of Juliette, even though she is shy, but the worst part is her all time crush got the part of Romeo!
