It’s time for this year’s Going Places contest! Finally. Time to build a go-cart, race it—and win. Each kid grabs an identical kit, and scrambles to build.
Everyone but Maya. She sure doesn’t seem to be in a hurry...and that sure doesn’t look like anybody else’s go-cart!
But who said it had to be a go-cart? And who said there’s only one way to cross the finish line?
This sublime celebration of creative spirit and thinking outside the box—both figuratively and literally—is ideal for early learners, recent grads, and everyone in between.

it is an amazing book to teach kids how be creative. after reading this book they will realize that they have to think outside of the box. the main characters really show what kids should do and what they could. kids will love and enjoy it if you read them this book. you will also adore it. kids will learn to be on a team instead of being an individual. have fun reading and i hope you also love this book.
Have you ever waited a long time for something? Well then, you know how Raffel feels. He’s been waiting a while for the going places project. When he got the kit and built the cart, he went to see Maya , and wanted to team up with Maya. And they made their own cart. Will they win the race? Read to find out! I recommend this book to people who like sweet stories. My favorite part is when Raffel and Maya team up. Thank you!!!!
