Double Fudge, by Judy Blume, is about tolerance. When Fudge Hatcher was five, he asked his older brother Peter Hatcher how much New York cost. After Peter answered the question, Fudge was obsessed with money. He even planned to buy the entire world, or at least Toys “R” Us. The family had to tolerate that. It was already enough trouble, but then Fudge’s pet Myna bird stopped talking. He tolerated it, but refused to tell the other family members about this, until Peter caught Fudge imitating it. Soon, their long-lost relatives, the Howie Hatchers, came to their building. It was really annoying, and then their other little brother, Mini, swallowed one of Fudges’ lost teeth! I recommend this book for boys and girls, grades third to sixth.

this book is about a kid that has a brother that is insane about money. He ate a turtle and then his brother got a dog. fudge is learning about money.
This book is amazing I first stumbled upon the series for a book report back when I was in fourth grade years later 7th grade i found the book and started reading it again this book is very funny and relatable if you have siblings.<3 I really do recommend this book!

fudge is obsessed with money he is going to be a miser for Halloween and has made plans to buy the entire world (or at least toys r us) but life gets really crazy when fudge and his older bro peter run in to there long lost relatives the Howie hatchers now they have to deal with annoying twin cousins and a weird younger cousin named Farley Drexel Hatcher just like fudge their names aren't the only similarity and before long mini fudge is causing as much trouble as fudge always has I rate it f I v e stars

I totally love this book!! This is one of my favourite books yet I had. I recommand you this book with five stars. Anyone with intrest with money would so love it. This book csn be for g2-7 and even adults. Remember Fudge ROCKS!
