Ike Hebert is a teenage motocross racer from south Louisiana who has a dream. He wants to win the National Amateur Championship at Loretta Lynn's and turn pro. But he has no resources, an old vintage bike, no sponsors and no prospects for finding a way - until 4 people converge into his life. Mr. Gonzales, the outcast junkyard dealer who has old bikes; Mr. Rick Abernathy and his daughter Samantha, a sick-fast mx racer who just moved down from California; and Crip Simon, a former Marine sniper and now motorcycle mechanic who takes Ike under his wing for training. But they wind up in a murder mystery in an Indians reservation where they must solve a crime before they can move Ike to the next level of his racing.
